Stardust Cowboy

Due to a thought on another song, “Stardust“, I meandered to an obscure performer that I had briefly seen mentioned in the past by Bowie, always wanted to check into, but just never got a round tuit. Now, I have. I’m not sure where the moniker “Stardust Cowboy” came from, but, it is documented that this was the “inspiration” for Ziggy Stardust. The only catch is Ziggy wasn’t quite as strange as the Ledge. Not even close. It’s not like Bowie to tone things down. But, in this case, it was a smart move. The Ledge is out-of-control screeching hooting cackling howling punk-a-billy. I almost always link to Amazon when I mention recordings here for a reason. They give the best and easiest to decipher recording history and make them quickly available ( via sound clips ). You can instantly get a sample of what I’m talking about. If you’ve never followed any of my Amazon links, follow THIS ONE! It’s definitely not the album I would suggest initiating yourself to The Ledge, but it gives a very clear idea of what I’m talking about. This guy is way out there. Nomi was as well, but you got the impression Nomi was seriously trying. You get the feeling Ledge needs help.
