In about one hour, after months of anxiously awaiting, Bowie makes his cartoon debut ( as far as I know ), as Lord Royal Highness on the Spongebob special Atlantis Squarepantis!

Don’t know about you all, but me and the Moonlet will be watching!

Guess I get the first crack at critiquing the performance?

It was OK. I didn’t really like the script that much. And, it was too heavy on the musicals. I tolerated it ok. However, Moonlet sat beside me and watched the whole thing intently ( for the most part ) and seemed to enjoy it with the spacevans and gadgets and stuff. That, I do believe, was the true intent of Bowie doing this. I do imagine I’ll be seeing it again before too long.

I enjoyed it but could have done without the songs

Whoops. My arrow screwed up that comment. Let me try again:

I enjoyed it but could done without the songs (they were lame). But that’s how you fill time for a movie I guess. I loved Bowie. His voice had me cracking up.

Squawk like a pink monkey bird!
