This is a a very rare video of Bowie performing Space Oddity. He recorded this video for the Kenny Everett Show in 1979. I have seen this video before. But, for the life of me, I don’t remember where, when, or how. Anyone got a clue?

This was filmed during the filming of Ashes to Ashes. Bowie liberally uses scenes from the Ashes to Ashes video. However, it reminds more of the Lodger videos in that it’s very dark with several scenes of him appearing dead. He apparently had a fascination with the afterlife during this period. Either that, or he was depressed as hell.
